Beach bag essentials......

Hi guys

it´s been some up and down with the weather since summer has officially started BUT everytime it is hot and there are a couple day I am out on the lake as long and as often I can.

Here are some of my Essentials:

Of course a pretty and colored big bag for the towels and drinks and all the other stuff you need or want to bring with you.

Beach Bag - H&M
Shoes - Havaianas
Drink - Coca Cola

This gorgeous "Beach Babe" Make-Up or hair accessory pouch.

Pouch - H&M
Sunnies - H&M
Blotting Papers - Essence
Lip Butter - Body Shop
Towels - Seahorse

Of course you gotta use sun protection spray. This is really important for me - because of the changing weather there isn´t a real chance to get used to the hot weather or the sun.
Sunburn is really bad for your skin. It hurts a lot, it can cause fever in the night and of course if you are not using sun protection sprays or lotions for years it can cause some really bad skin cancer.

and I also have those gorgeous body oils from their summer line
The Monoi de Tahiti

the normal body oil

and the one with the gold glitter of course ;)

but they are for your skin after sun bathing and showering to keep the glow on your skin and make it super soft.

I am always wearing a hat and sunglasses.
First of all I don´t want to get my to dry (can not prevent it that good but in my opinion it doesn´t have to be worse) and second thing is I am  afraid of getting a sunstroke.

Another real beach (or lake essential) are my Havaianas
I totally fell in love with this brand as we were in Brasil for vacation some years ago.
Since then I am only wearing those if I am wearing flipflops.

I usually do not wear make-up on purpose. If am going later on the day there might be some left on my face (oops). Maybe some matte powder or just a bronzer.

What I always wear over my bikini is this super cute beach dress from H&M.

Those are the main things I take with me while going to the lake.

Hope you had a great week so far.

Take care. See you. Love K.

Healthy Nails and Hair - Biotion - the beauty vitamin - a review

Hi guys,

as I remember myself I always had problems with my nails. They where very thin and brittle and everytime they had about the same length one or to broke and I had to cut them all back.

So I decided to try dietary supplements. I did a lot of research on the internet and also in some pharmacy magazines and found out that it would be the best if I add some Biotin (or also called vitamin H) to my nutrition.

As far as I´ve seen you can find it in almost every supermarket or drug store and it isn´t expensive at all. I bought a package with 3 blisters - one is for a month for about 6 Euros (the price depends on how high or low the dose of the Biotin is).

I´ve been testing it now for about three months (the package is almost empty) and I gotta say it really works for my nails. They are really pretty now. They grow quicker and they are really stronger and I couldn´t be happier about that.

Haven´t seen so many changes for my hair so far but the main thing I wanted really happened.

Knowing this I can only recommend it to you guys.

Wishing you all a happy Monday,

Which experiences did you make with dietary supplement ?

Take care. See you. Love K.

Stripes and tan.........

Hi guys

I am sooo glad it is finally hot and my summer vacation is so close now. Only a few weeks away. I already started packing but I won´t be done until the last day. I am changing so much pieces all the time cause I want to wear them already before vacation.

Got this awesome striped summer dress from H&M (already sold out).

I do like this color combi a lot itself - but you can also add a third popping color.
I know tan is not such a bright color but it does bring a highlight.

I added a belt arround my waist for bringing in a different color and also a matching bag ( got this one from New Look marked down for only 12 Euros).

Black and white is always a timeless and classic combination (Coco Chanel also said this) for your looks. It is the most versatile color combination ever cause you can add so many different colored pieces to it.

Got photobombed by my little pup *-*

Dress - H&M
Shoes - Tommy Hilfiger
Belt - old ( I think it was New Yorker)
Bag -New Look
Earrings - Sixx
Sunnies - Ray Ban

Hope you are all enjoying the nice and warm weather.

Take care. See you. Love K.

Seventies colors.....

Hi guys

and happy Sunday. The weather is rainy and cold - AGAIN (this is so annoying - I cant´t believe it) so I switched to pants and a jacket and a light summer scarf.

It is no secret that the seventies could have been my decade. I love the colors and all the patterns and the materials.

So here is an outfit inspired by orange - tan - and paisley :)

Top - H&M
Jacket - old
Jeans - H&M
Flats - Buffallo Boots
Bag - Tommy Hilfiger
Scarf - Amisu (New Yorker)

Wishing you all a nice and productive week. We have a couple free days next week and spending two days in a super nice and old city. Stay tuned for updates.

Take care. See you. Love K.

Instagram and live lately....

Hi guys

since the European Championship it didn´t get restful at all - which I hoped for but there are many festivities in and around our city. The last weekend we had been to the Jazz - Festival. I never liked Jazz music that much or even thought about listening to it and I probably won´t become a huge fan but listening to it for a couple hours or a night out is really nice and in every way some abwechslung..

There also was a festival called the spectaculum. Is is kind of medieval market with knights and lots of different showman. They duplicated a market from the earlier times where you can find food and craft. They had little wood swords for children and arrows and headbands with flowers and beads for girls (my honey also got a pink one for me :) ). They also offered lots of great ciders with pear and berry flavors and a delicious beer with ginger flavor. At night they had live music with a band that played rock music mixed with bag pipe sounds and violins.

We also went out for some Indian food on our usual Wednesday Date Night and I gotta admit it has been the first time.
It was mindblowing delicious - I missed a lot by not trying it throughout the years.
I ate a dish called Beef Vindaloo. It has been with beef (super soft) and potatoes and rice.
