Food Friday - Mother´s Day cake full of flowers....

I wanted to share another recipe on the blog with you today. Since Mother´s Day is on Sunday and you don´t have enough time left to get a gift why not make a beautiful and tasty cake by yourself ?!

It is too hard and won´t taste good you think ? Don´t be too hard on yourself. With a little patience and dedication it will work.

These are two super quick and easy recipes for the dough and the frosting I am posting today. 

Ingredients for the dough:
- 5 eggs
- 100 gr. sugar
- 250 gr. butter
- 100 gr. confectioners sugar sifted
- pinch of salt
- lemon zest 
- 100 gr. flour
- 100 gr. corn starch
- 1 tblsp. baking soda

Ingredients frosting:
- 250 grams white chocolate melted and cooled 
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice 
- 320 grams butter soft
- 2 cups of confectioners sugar sifted 
- 450 grams cream cheese in room temperature

Decor:
- marzipan roses
- sugar flowers 

Direction for the batter:
- mix the sugar, eggs, butter, confectioners sugar and lemon zest until creamy 
- add the flour, baking soda, corn starch and salt
- let it mix the batter for about 3 minutes

- take two small baking pans and spread the butter evenly
- bake for 45 minutes on 165° degrees

Directions for the frosting:
- melt the chocolate until creamy
- put the butter out of the fridge so it gets soft
- when chocolate isn´t hot anymore but still creamy and butter is soft put all the ingredients for the frosting together and mix for about 3 minutes
- put the frosting into the freezer for about 5 minutes
- add frosting onto your cake, layer by layer 

and garnish how you like.
